We’re going on a people hunt!

First week back to school and getting to know you, doesn’t need to be boring…Who went roller skating? Who went camping? We can do MUCH better than that! Imagine a class full of students discussing what they WOULD have done! This task explains how to get your students moving around and getting to know each other, as well as providing for some rich imaginative discussions afterwards as a group. A much better alternative to the usual people hunt.

Level 3 English WRITING Checklist Victorian Curriculum

Here we have for you a Level 3 (Grade 3, Grade 2 Extension students, Grade 4 Additional needs students) checklist for the Victorian Curriculum area of writing. Is the Victorian Curriculum the same as the Australian Curriculum? Yes I believe so, as for a brief moment there, we were but one curriculum joined in unity, before we Victorians boldly tore away from the breast of the Mother Nation! Each checklist is in a Excel format so you can tweak it to suit the needs of your school – you may want to add, or delete. Let’s face it, just because its in the curriculum doesn’t mean it needs to have a tick box and a tick. We use the checklist as a planning tool for our termly and weekly planners too.
