Sight Word Searches, written in Victorian Cursive Script. Perfect for students who need something to keep motivation up when consolidating or reinforcing. These for the lovely Integration Teachers working with little ones on their sight words. As requested they are in Victorian Cursive script to assist with correct entry and exit points when writing words, and in lower case letters so that students are able to link these to what they read in texts.
The Noise-O-Meter helps set and manage the noise level in your classroom, without you having to engage in dialogue. This package comes with instructions on how to set up and manage the Noise-O-Meter. Printed on A3 paper, and I glue to paper before laminating to give extra strength, and then it is ready for use. I discuss with the class the required noise level prior to beginning the lesson and why, then turn the arrow to keep a reminder visiable in the room. If the noise level starts to creep, simply move the arrow to the next expected noise level section along and students will know this is a warning and a consequence may be in place. Do away with having to stop the class! Only $1.50
Not just a great activity for the beginning of the year or term, but a great way to teach Venn Diagrams. This worksheet is a brilliant start of the year or term activity when you need to get the children engaged in dialogue with others outside of their immediate friendship group. Children LOVE to share information about themselves, as well as find common and own interests. This worksheet does all that, as well as making for a great display to have everyone really get to know each other. A nice easy way to teach Venn Diagrams too! Only $1.

OZClassroom Hacks is about anything that makes life easy in the classroom. Have you ever noticed that some staff seem to look a lot less stressed than others? That’s usually because they have the benefit of a few years under their belt and access to good range of resources. They are the one’s who know not to try and reinvent the wheel, but to use what’s already there.
This activity works great with viewing the movie Inside Out, and lends its hand to opeing some amazing dialogue about feelings and who we really are.
